“The best care for your best friend”

Hi guys! I’m Eva Dwyer, and I’m based around Wichita, Kansas. Originally from Goshen, Indiana.

I do everything from in-home services (services in my home) to travel services, and sometimes even weddings! Let me know what your needs are, and I will let you know how I can help you. I love plants & have been known to water plants/flowers while people are away! No question or task is too big or small.

I live with my boyfriend, Corey, and has been my helping hand from the very start. He’s a teacher and basketball coach at Wichita West High School! With COVID-19, he has been helping me a lot more.

I went to Hesston College and Bethel College, graduating and majoring in Elementary Education, and also studied Special Education. I realized I wasn’t passionate anymore about what I was doing. However, I really enjoyed my time working at a vet my senior year of college. I learned a lot about medications, making sure needs are met, and just overall how to clean properly. I didn’t work there too long because the pay wasn’t paying the bills, but I really liked it! I didn’t love it, though. All the dogs were so stressed, unless they came often. That’s what I love about what I do- dogs leave happy and tired!

My best friend introduced me to the idea of dog sitting, and it sounded perfect for me. I instantly fell in love and just keep loving it more. I have learned a lot about safety, and just dogs in general.

I also need to put in here that my Pet Sitters Insurance requires that I collect up to date records. I get asked a lot about what vaccinations they need in order to come to daycare or be boarded. what I need are as follows:

  • Rabies vaccination (1 or 3 year vaccination)

  • DHLPP (1 or 3 year vaccination)

  • Bordatella (every 12 months)

  • Canine Influenza (every 12 months)

  • MONTHLY Flee & Tick Medication, Heartworm prevention

My hours will always be updated on Facebook and the bottom of my website. If you're hoping to drop your dog off or pick them up, before or after hours, a fee will be applied.

Below, there is more information on each service. Something that I don’t like doing but have to, is applying my cancellation fee. I a lot of times have to turn people down (if spots are booked), and I’m counting on you to keep me up to date. For pay, I require people to pay when they book and that is how I’m able to put the cancellation policy in place.

Meet and Greets:

Prior to your pets stay, we will conduct a ‘meet and greet’. This will allow me to acquire all the necessary information in regards to your pet, your schedule, and any other information pertaining to the relationship between you and your best friend and I. Some typical questions I ask include, but are not limited to; where do they sleep at night, how much and how frequent they eat, which vet they use, etc.? Feel free to include any information you feel is necessary for me to know so I can take the best care of your furry friend. If you can, it’d be great to get your furry friend’s vet records at the meet and greet. I’m going To have a short questionnaire about both you and your pups preferences to make sure I’m accommodating to the best of EVERYONE'S needs (human family included)!

Travel Services:

My travel services include check-ins, walks, pet-taxi, weddings, housesitting, and any other service imaginable! I’ve been known to plant/flower sit while people are gone as well. However you wish your pet to be taken care of in your home, I will follow instructions. The price(s) vary based on distance and the amount of time I’m there for. The only time I charge for additional pets is if I need to walk an additional dog or dogs! Similar to daycare, if it is weekly and/or monthly, I will likely lower the rate.

Housesitting- talk to me about how much you would like me at your house and I will see how much it'd be with how far you are from me.

***discounts are available if you come to me on a weekly basis or you have a couple of drop ins a day!

***cancellation policy for drop ins/walks: you are expected to pay for half the service, if the booking is canceled less than 24 hours in advance. The other half is credited to your account.

***cancellation policy for housesitting: if it is a cancellation less than 48 hours before, then you will be expected to pay half, the other half will be credited.

In-Home Services:

You are more than welcome to bring whatever you’d like! Whether that’s a comfort toy, blanket, or bone to chew on, I’ll be sure to let put them in their personalized cubby to keep track of everything. These are things for them to do during down time. I have bones and toys, but if you prefer other things, that’s fine. The only thing I ask to not bring along are bowls, so I don’t get them mixed up (it’s very easy to do) and because I wash bowls after each stay! I have bowls of all sizes. Treats, bones, and toys, just specify if they’re for just your dog(s), or to share!

Since I do a lot of driving, I do ask for compensation for time and gas. For pickups and drop offs, the rates prices are under the pricing tab(excludes daycare am pickup).

In-Home Daycare:

If you are interested in daycare only, I have clients pay monthly, after the first couple of daycare days. The more frequently they come, the cheaper it is! I do free pickups in the morning, to help your morning be a little easier. I usually get to the first house around the time we officially open or soon after (because I'm getting multiple dogs.) Typically I will have a key or garage code, to make sure you get to work on time and to make my mornings less stressful. I know a lot of people would need to drop them off before we officially open, is also why I provide them. however, this is supposed to make things less stressful and I can't change my schedule around too much, or it'll effect other daycare parents. Regardless of if I do pickup in the morning or not, the price will be the same.

With daycare itself, I am very flexible. Let me know what you need or what you are looking for. I’ll give you a game plan of what I can make happen & how we‘re going to work on things progressively. Whether its basic obedience, manners, or you simply need your pup worn out, you've found the place for your pup!

What does ‘In-Home Daycare’ look like? It is the perfect option if you are looking for someone who is home full time, are needing to work on socialization, have a young puppy, or they simply don’t like being home alone. Don’t be worried if there are ‘things to work on’. There are always things to work on, and I would love to give any advice based on observations I have made in the past and with your pup.

Cancellation Policy (Daycare):

  • if cancelled within 24 hours before the time of pickup, half will still be charged and half will be credited.

In-Home Boarding:

For boarding, you can definitely expect your dog to be worn out after. Basically all we do is play! There will be other dogs during the stay, so at night we kennel dogs. It's also when my dogs have a break/downtime with us. We also kennel them in between playtime. We are sure to accommodate to every dogs needs. Obviously a 6 month old puppy isn't going to get the same amount of playtime as the 6 year old dog. They have different needs. At the meet and greet, Ill be sure to ask what those needs are.

I price boarding by the night. The only exception is if it is a one night stay and they are staying 2 full days. In this case, I would charge for 1 night of boarding and 1 day of daycare.

‘Holiday’ Rate:

Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years

Holiday rate will be based on whenever kids don't have school for breaks.

Cancellation Policy (Boarding):

  • For cancelations with holiday rate applied: you will be expected to pay for half of the stay, the other half will be credited.

    • if cancelled less than a week before, you will be required to pay in full

  • for regular boarding, if cancelled less than a week before, you will be expected to pay for half of the stay.
